Look Inside our Family Devotionals
The goal: Training our kids to be lifelong followers of Jesus.
Inside this free sample, you’ll find the entire first week of our devotional on Genesis.
What’s Inside?
We’ve worked hard to create devotionals that will serve your family well, no matter the age range.
π Books of the Bible
Most of our devotionals cover one book of the Bible. Weβll give you tools to help you and your kids learn how each book fits together and how each one is important for the Bibleβs big story.
π Daily Readings
We’ll help you know exactly what to read and what to say.
Weβve broken up every book of the Bible into manageable chunks (for even the squirmiest kiddos).
ππ»ββοΈ Pre-Reading Questions
Before reading the passage each day, weβll give you two sentences to read to your kids.
- The first sentence reminds them of the context and tells them what weβll be reading today.
- The second sentence gives them something to listen for while reading. Itβs like a scavenger hunt to help them pay attention!
ππ½ββοΈ Reading Questions
After reading a short passage, weβll give you three questions to ask your kids to help your kids understand, remember, and apply what they just read.
βοΈ Jesus Connection
A short reading each day will show your kids how every story and command points to Jesus.
π Prayer Points
We give you three things to pray for each day, based on the passage we read.

βοΈ Listening Guides
We donβt want kids to sit through the Bible reading β we want them to learn how to actually engage with Scripture. Thatβs why we created listening guides.
These worksheets give kid-friendly tools to help each age group engage with Godβs Word.
- Pre-Readers are given one word to listen for each day.
- Early Readers are given a list of words to keep track of throughout an entire book of the Bible.
- Elementary-Aged Kids play Bingo, listening for quotes, characters, and things throughout the book of the Bible.
- Middle and High School Kids are given a journal template with a list of events to listen for and simple prompts about them (“What does this teach us about God?”)
These resources help kids develop healthy, lifelong Bible reading habits.
Become a confident parent with a clear vision and specific plan to train your kids to become lifelong followers of Jesus.
